Cookie Policy

BeeUpTech cookie policy: cookies used, their durations, consent management and how to change your preferences.

This Cookie Policy explains the types, purposes and retention periods of the cookies and similar tracking technologies used on www.beeuptech.com, and how you can manage your preferences. It has been prepared in accordance with the KVKK, the Turkish Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines on Cookie Practices and Electronic Communications Law No. 5809, and forms an integral part of the Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Notice.

1. What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device through your browser when you visit a website. Cookies are used to maintain your session, verify security, remember language and preferences and — subject to your consent — for measurement and advertising. Our site also makes limited use of similar technologies such as browser local storage.

2. Cookie Classification

  • By source: First-party cookies are placed directly by our site; third-party cookies are placed by the providers whose services we use.
  • By duration: Session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed; persistent cookies remain on your device until the stated period expires.
  • By purpose: Strictly necessary, security, analytics and advertising/targeting cookies.

3. Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)

These cookies are technically required for the site to function and rely on the legitimate interest ground under Article 5/2(f) of the KVKK; if they are disabled, the site cannot perform its functions.

3.2 Security cookies

reCAPTCHA serves to prevent form abuse and operates on the legitimate interest ground, processing only the limited technical data needed to produce a risk score.

3.3 Analytics cookies (subject to your explicit consent)

3.4 Advertising and targeting cookies (subject to your explicit consent)

Because cookie identifiers may be updated by the provider, durations may differ from the provider’s current documentation.

4. Consent Management and Consent Mode

A cookie preference panel is displayed on your first visit. “Essential only” prevents analytics and advertising cookies from operating, whereas “Accept all” grants consent to them. Your preference is stored in your browser and passed to Google’s tag infrastructure as the analytics_storage and ad_storage consent signals. Until you consent, these signals remain in the “denied” state.

You may change your preference at any time: if you clear your site data (cookies and local storage), the preference panel is displayed again and you can make a new choice. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out lawfully before the withdrawal.

5. Browser Settings

You can also manage, delete or block cookies through your browser settings. The steps vary by browser; if strictly necessary cookies are blocked, core functions such as session management and form security may not work. You can opt out of Google Analytics measurement across all websites using the browser add-on provided by Google.

6. Data Processed via Cookies and International Transfers

Cookies process cookie identifiers, IP address, device and browser information, the pages visited and the referring address, UTM campaign parameters and the time of the visit. Data collected through consent-based analytics and advertising cookies may be transferred abroad via Google’s infrastructure. Such transfers rely on your explicit consent or on the appropriate safeguards recognised by the Board under Article 9 of the KVKK. If you do not consent, no such transfer occurs.

7. Campaign and Traffic Records

In order to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, the UTM parameters, referrer, page path, session key, browser information and IP address relating to your visit may be recorded on the server side. These records are retained for the period stated in the Privacy Policy and are not matched with advertising identifiers.

8. Your Rights

You may exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK in respect of personal data processed through cookies via the Data Subject Request Form.

9. Updates

This Policy is updated in the event of changes to the cookies used or to the applicable legislation; the current version is published on this page. For questions: info@beeuptech.com
